Public websites grow over years: many editors, many pages, forms, events and documents. According to W3Techs (as of October 2026), around 40% of TYPO3 installations worldwide still run on v11 or v12.
Since 30 April 2026, TYPO3 v12 no longer receives free support. At the same time, requirements for accessibility and multilingual content are rising. An upgrade is the right moment to solve both properly.

You can plan the upgrade to v13 or v14 or use paid Extended Long Term Support for a transitional period. The TYPO3 Upgrade Check shows which is more economical for your installation.
Yes. Member areas with login, documents and their own content can be built in TYPO3 and, if required, connected to a membership management system or a CRM.
For large content inventories we use Apache Solr. The search finds pages, documents and events and can be filtered by language and category.
